Power Boaters

Big or small, we want you all!

If you've ever wondered what all the fuss is about during a regatta or if you used to race sailboats and miss the camaraderie of being challenged on the water, then this regatta is for you.  With three ways to participate there is something for everyone!

  1. NAVIGATIONAL CHALLENGE:  Test your navigational skills using a GPS and a hand held compass.  This is a time on distance race.

  2. MOB CHALLENGE: All boaters should know how to handle a man overboard (MOB) situation but are you really up to snuff?  What a fun and safe way to see if you've got what it takes to do a MOB rescue with the added pressure of being timed. Or maybe you've got it down pat and you just want to go for the win!

  3. TIMER: Not in a competitive frame of mind these days? You can still be part of the action.  We need boats out there to help time the those who are competing in the drill.  Contact Rhonda or Mike at hospice@pcyc.net or find them on their boat MARS in slip M2 to let them know you want to join in and they'll set you up

No matter how you want to participate, go to the registration page and sign up for the PHRF race.  The registration fee includes all sorts of goodies as well as the ability to purchase discounted dinner tickets for the BASH
