*The Hospice Handicap Race

On Saturday June 23rd this charity event is open to boaters of all disciplines – even if you’ve never raced before - to compete in this fun, new Hospice Handicap (HH) race. Each sailboat entry without a valid PHRF rating will be given a one-time HH rating before competing in this pursuit start, point-to-point race-with-a-twist.  Don’t like your rating? You can fix that!  All ratings can be tweaked according to the donation to hospice made on behalf of the boat.

But why should sailors have all the fun?

That’s what we thought!

Calling all power boaters!  Test your time-on-distance skills and join the sailboats in this unconventional race.  Whether you are fully equipped with all the electronic bells and whistles or simply have a hand held radio, whether you have one engine or four, you will be equally challenged OR

be part of the action by being a timer for the Man Overboard drills which are part of the race.  Be entertained and take video of your fellow boaters trying to rescue their "man".  Best video will be awarded a prize!  You still need to register to get the regatta swag, free drinks and discounted BBQ

Power and Sail, together for one fabulous day of fun and challenges on Lake Ontario!
